An album featuring Steve Winwood's guitarist with songs that takes nylon string, jazz-oriented guitar into new territory of Brazilian rhythms exploding with the fire of Hendrix, McLaughlin, and the great guitars of all time and beyond.

Netoband has been playing and recording since 1995, with musical associations long before that. The band is Jose Neto, guitar, Frank Martin, keys, Gary Brown, bass, Cafe on percussion, and Celso Alberti on drums. 7th Wave-The Lucky One is their fourth release.

Jose Neto has been touring with Steve Winwood in support of Winwood's latest recording, "About Time". The album features three of Neto's tunes with lyrics and vocals provided by Mr. Winwood, including "Domingo", featured on "7th Wave".

Playing songs composed by Jose Neto, the NETOBAND takes you for a musical ride of influences from Brazilian rhythms to the flashing, rippling sounds of Jimi Hendrix and beyond. Delightful music interplay is the trademark of the Netoband, and is evident on this cd.

"7th Wave-The Lucky One" was recorded live at Ronnie Scott's as well as acoustic guitar tracks recorded in California and band tracks from Fantasy Studios in Berekley.
